About our Nurse

Picture of Nurse Danelle Gundersen

Hi, my name is Danelle Gundersen. I was a substitute nurse for the school district last year, and I am very happy to have joined the Moorlands team as the full-time nurse in August 2021. I earned my nursing degree at Bellevue College and University of Washington. My background includes hospital work in a medical-surgical unit, ambulatory/outpatient surgery center, infection prevention and control, and phone triage. I live in Bothell with my husband, and we have two children in the Northshore School District.

My goals for the parent/student community at Moorlands are:

  • Keeping your children safe and healthy
  • Managing health problems as they arise during the day
  • Being a resource and advocate for Moorlands families

You can help me achieve these goals by updating me if there are any changes regarding your child’s healthcare needs including newly diagnosed medical conditions, short-term physical restrictions, or changes in medications. Please contact me with any questions or concerns!
