Mustang Memo - 11/23/22
Happy Wednesday Mustangs~
While we take time off of school during this four day weekend, we want to recognize that November 24 is Thanksgiving and November 25 is Native American Heritage Day.
Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year.
Native American Heritage Day is celebrated the day after Thanksgiving. American Indians are given special honor on this day, and their rich cultures, accomplishments, contributions, and heritage are celebrated.
We are so thankful for all of you and our Moorlands community!
Until next week,
Meghan Griffin, Principal (mgriffin@nsd.org)
LaTisha Joseph, Assistant Principal (ljoseph@nsd.org)
