Families can pay by cash or check here at school. Checks should be made payable to Northshore School District and indicate "school meals" on the memo line. Families can also manage their student's meal account online with TITAN School Solutions. The TITAN Family Portal allows parents to:
-
Make online payments to your student's account (Accepts Visa and MasterCard)
-
Add money to multiple students during the same session and only pay one convenience fee of $2.60.
-
Remotely monitor your children’s cafeteria meal accounts
-
Set up automatic and recurring payments
-
Set up low account balance email and text alerts
-
Transfer money between students
-
Submit an online application for free and reduced meals
School Meal Accounts - Register on Titan
NSD moved from PayPams to Titan in 2020 but many families have not registered in Titan yet due to meals being free for the last two years. All account balances were transferred automatically from PayPams to Titan, but families need to register in order to view or add money to student accounts.
Apply for Free & Reduced Price Meals
Families will need to reapply for benefits by the end of September.
Tech News
Hello Mustangs!
As we begin preparing for heading back to school there are a few technology items that I would like to go over with you.
For students who have a district device at home:
Make sure you have the following located, ready, and charged prior to the first day of school:
- Chromebook/iPad
- Charger
- Protective Case/Laptop Bag
Students should bring these with them on the first day of school and beyond!
Students will need to fully restart their Chromebooks and iPads to install any updates that have been released over the summer. Your device will need to be connected to wifi in order to install the updates, so make sure your computer is connected to your home wifi network or hotspot before you reboot.
If you have a Chromebook: Hold down the power button on your Chromebook for 10 seconds. After 10 sec the power should be completely off. Press the power button again to start up the Chromebook. This reboot initiates the updates necessary for the latest OS release on student Chromebooks.
Failure to update your Chromebook may cause performance issues with the device, please make sure to reboot your computer from time to time to keep it updated. It is very important.
For students who currently DO NOT have a district device assigned and with them OR you have lost/broken a device:
You will be receiving a district device that will be assigned to you for daily school use. We are still working out the exact process for how these devices will be distributed, so please hang tight while we work out the details. Just know that, like last year, all students will have a device assigned to them: iPads for K-1 and Chromebooks for 2-5.
I am so excited to see everyone back at school next week!

Northshore Schools Foundation Backpack & School Supplies
The Northshore Schools Foundation is here to help you! If you are experiencing financial limitations, the Foundation would like to provide your Northshore student with a backpack and school supply kit for the 2022-2023 school year.
The school supplies will be for use while your student is studying at home, these supplies are not intended to be shared in the classroom environment. If your school has additional requests for supplies, those items are what you should use your resources to purchase.
Backpacks and supply kits will be available for pick-up at our distribution event held on August 27 at Pop Keeney. If you provide us with an email, we will update you when the details become available. Backpacks will be available for pick up at your designated school. (These backpacks are for students that have NOT received a backpack from their school or the Foundation in the last 18 months. Thank you for your understanding.)
At this time we are only able to provide backpacks and school supply kits to students enrolled in the Northshore School District, and enrollment will be verified. If you have more than 5 students to register, please complete an additional entry.
DISTRIBUTION EVENT IS SATURDAY, AUGUST 27 FROM 10 AM TO 1 PM AT POP KEENEY STADIUM.
