Cross Country

Are You Ready To Run?

Be a part of Moorlands & Northshore community while increasing your fitness level! Cross country is a running sport where students run a course with other participants in the same grade level. It is a great experience for all skill levels!

All Registration information and forms can be found on the Northshore School District Elementary Sports page.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Mrs. Sears.

Frequently asked questions:

What grade levels participate? 3rd, 4th and 5th grade boys and girls can participate in Cross Country

How long is the course? About a ½ mile

Practices will be after school on Mondays from 3:50-4:20. Students will meet Mrs. Sears outside of the gym.

Meets are on Tuesdays and last approximately 1 hour. You will need your own transportation to and from meets. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Some schools will walk through the course before the races begin. Don’t forget your Mustang jersey, shorts, running shoes, water bottle, and a good attitude!  Families are welcome to leave after their student is done with his/her race.
